HENNEPIN PROVINCE The Fourth Degree was established on Feb. 22nd, 1900 by the Supreme Council with an inauguration Class of over 1100 Knights of Columbus.

The Board of Directors of the Supreme Council Voted on January 8th, 1921 “VOTED that a new province embracing the States of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and West Virginia, be created, and that the said new Fourth Degree province be and is hereby named ‘Hennepin Province’.” On October 19, 1969 it was revised to only include Ohio and Michigan establishing a new province creating the Father Sorin Province with Indiana, Kentucky, and West Virginia.
