Prayer Board

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help
or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you
I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word incarnate, despise not my petitions, but, in your mercy,
hear and answer me.         Amen.

My Dad peacefully took his last breath today at 10:32 pm.   He was surrounded by family all day today and saw all of his children and many of his grandchildren.  His last words this morning were "I love you."

My parents were married for almost 52 years and my Mom's strength through all of this has been an inspiration to us all.   She found the love and strength with the support of her family to keep my Dad comfortable till the end in his own home.

Dad we will hold you in our head and in our hearts forever.   You were an amazing and special Dad, Husband, brother, friend and community volunteer.   Your spirit, love and legacy will live on in those that you have inspired to do better and greater things to help others.   Through you God's light will shine on....

Love,

Kathy (your oooooldest daughter) and Mary Lynn ( your doctor daughter)

Just a little info to be kept in your prayers,,,,

Two months ago I had m yearly endoscopy which checks on the surgery I had on my esophagus almost 17 years ago (I had it repaired in AA) Each year everything showed up fine and dandy. This year back in October the Doc (Salimi in Flint) told me I had a very bad ulcerated esophagus he gave me med's and to come back in 2 months to have it checked. I went yesterday. After I woke up he said"...the ulcer is clearing up nicely"...then stopped...and I said "but"..he continued well, there are three types of cancer cells low, medium and high grade. You have a number of "high grade" cells. They will send them to U of M, I take more meds for a month then go back for another endoscopy. If the cells are still there or have multiplied he will send me to the surgeon who did my first esophageal surgery. he will then look and decide whither I have to have my esophagus removed. So the Advent/Christmas Season will be a time for waiting for Christ and medical news for me. So far just say let go and let God

Worthy Sir Knights & Ladies:

I received very sad news this morning indeed.  Our dear friends, Jim & Sherry Farrand have lost their son, Ryan.  **See messages below.

As most of you know Ryan suffered a massive heart attack on October 30th while Jim & Sherry were at our exemplification in Flint.  They rushed home immediately.  The medical team fought to save Ryan but in the end he lost his battle for life.  What a very sad and unnatural thing for a parent to bury their child.

Please pray for Ryan’s soul and also for the Farrand family at this very sad and trying time.

I will forward the funeral arrangements when I receive them.  Unfortunately Lady Maxine and I will not be able to attend as we are in Florida for the next 10 days.  I am hoping some will attend from our District to show our love and support for Jim and Sherry.

 GOD BLESS YOU THIS DAY!
Dennis Henderson, Master
Michigan District II

Worthy SD Bob, VSM Nat, Masters and FM's, District Deputies, Faithful Navigators and Brother Knights,

I send you this news with sadness and ask that you continue your prayers for the Farrand family and especially for the repose of the soul of Ryan Sylvestre.

May God's Grace and His strength be with their family during this time of reflection, mourning, healing and sorrow.
May the Holy Spirit encompass the Farrand family with His love and His healing. As they gather together to reflect upon the fond and precious memories of the time they shared with Ryan.

I'll update everyone once I become aware of funeral arrangements.

Sir Knights,

Sorry, I have not been able to participate for a long time, just
spiritually.  My wife Evelyn has Alzheimer's so she has been my care
for a few years.  My kidneys failed on October 27th and I spent 18
days in the hospital with five surgeries.  I now have nephrostomy
tubes in my kidneys with saddle bags for urine, so not very mobile.
Home now, but can not get around that easy.  Guess I am stuck for as
long as I last now, I just turned 90 in August.  Thank you all for
your Love and Friendship.

Sir Knights,

In the past few days Ryan has a collapsed lung in addition to the
pneumonia and infection in his lungs. Ryan is breathing but he does
have a machine to assist or complete his breathing.  They did get him
off the sedation by Thursday but he's back on sedation because of his
heart complication.  The doctors want to take Ryan off the dialysis
machine in order to get him to have a cat scan done.  He has been
moved from the cardiac intensive care area and now he's in regular ICU
unit.  Family can only visit him in pairs and they have to wear gowns
to prevent further infections.
Ryan's body temperature is back to normal.

Lady Sherry and Master Jim are both very very grateful for all the
love and concern for their family and ask that everyone continue with
their prayers.  Ryan has many things to overcome.  They know your
prayers are helping.

God Bless Ryan, and the Sylvester and Farrand families.

As most of you know Jim & Sherry Farrand have been wonderful friends
of the Michigan & Ohio 4th Degree Knights.  They have attended most of
our 4th Degree Exemplifications and have invited us to theirs in
Canada.  Jim is the serving Master of the 5th Ontario District based
in Windsor.  Jim and Sherry were in the Michigan District II
exemplification in Flint, MI. when this tragedy transpired.

Let us all keep Ryan in our prayers as well as the entire Farrand
family.  This is a very difficult time for them.

God Bless You All……………

Dennis Henderson, Master
Michigan District II
Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus
Father Louis Hennepin Province

Just received a phone call tonight from Lady Sherry and Lori and I
would like to pass along the information that we received.

Sherry's 39 yr old son, Ryan drove himself to a Windsor hospital on
Saturday and collapsed outside the hospital. He suffered damages to
his face and it is unknown how long he was outside until someone found
him.

He suffered a major coronary heart attack and was arrested twice
before he gained back a good heart beat. The nurse was able to contact
Sherry from her son's cell phone and they left Flint shortly after
4:00 pm. Sherry asked the nurse to contact her daughter Lisa, which
she did while Jim and Sherry traveled I-75 toward Detroit. During
their travel the nurse called to inform them they were transferring
Ryan to Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
The Windsor hospital closed the Windsor/Detroit tunnel from both
directions for the ambulance to travel safely and quickly.

At Ford Hospital they gave him a paralytic to induce him into a coma
to keep him still. They inserted a balloon pump into his heart artery
to keep up a good flow of oxygen.  His body was cooled to 33 degrees C
and tonight they have begun to warm his body temperature slowly over
the next 24 hrs and began to reduce him from the paralytic drug to
bring him back to consciousness. The doctor at Henry Ford was happy
with the progress so far.

Saturday night Lady Sherry and her son Todd stayed overnight at Ford
Hospital and she's home tonight with Jim to get some rest.

Her son Ryan has a history of heart problems and blood pressure
problems since the age of 15.

We'll continue to keep you updated and ask that you pass along the
message to our brother Sir Knights in Michigan District 1 and II and
across the 5th Ontario District for continued prayers for the Farrand
family.

Fraternally,

SK David Gelinas

I received the following update on Lady Ellen Johnson - please
continue to keep her and her family in your prayers:

Lady Ellen is scheduled for surgery tomorrow afternoon.  This is to
close her leg from the first surgery when they took off the foot.  Her
blood numbers are for the most part where they belong.  White cells
are normal.  Ellen's kidneys are working again.  They must be doing OK
because she has been urinating and not on dialyses since last
Saturday.  The vascular docs said that the surgery should last about
one hour and that the prosthetics people should be in touch a couple
of days after the surgery, and that the stitches would be in for about
one month and it would take about three months before she would have
the extension on her leg.  Ellen's attitude has been pretty good.  She
did not sleep well last night thinking about tomorrow.  SK Terry
Johnson is a member of Assembly #0474 in Muskegon, Michigan.

up in the hospital for a short stay.  He also is back to work and
doing better.

Just a brief note.  Lady Jean was "sprung" from the Riverside "Hilton"

well.  She is sitting up, walking with the aid of a walker, eating and, in

she is still alive and in the condition she is in.  I BELEIVE it was the prayers

Well, they wouldn't release her yesterday or today.  Looks like they
will re-evaluate her again tomorrow.  She looks great, her voice is
coming back, she is eating and they have taken all the tubes out
except the oxygen in the nose.  They hope to take that out tomorrow.
They have had her set up, go to the bathroom and walk a little in the
room.  All of which really makes her light headed and worn out.

The Dr. is concerned about fluids around the lung, the lack of stamina
and strength.  The fluids are a result of the IVs they gave her and
the lack of stamina and strength is the result of the CPR for one
thing.  In fact, the Doctor would like her to go to a nursing home for
physical therapy BUT
she won't hear of it.  I'll be back up there tomorrow morning and hope
they will let her go home.  I'll keep you posted.

Thought that I would give you this short note so that my brother knights
will know the status of my health.  My Brother Knights, when I was
diagnosed with cancer in October I asked for your prayers and I thank
you for your response.  I had my check up with the doctor yesterday and
the results were not good.  The cancer has spread, and additional chemo
would not do much good.  So I have decided to discontinue all treatment
and to continue live as I am now for whatever time I have left.  I hope
you will continue to pray for me and my wife who is my primary
caregiver.  Right now I feel great and hope to participate in the Fish
Fry and other events as they come up.

Please pray for Sarah Dashley, daughter of SK Robert Dashley - Cincinnati, Ohio.  She has been in Jewish Hospital since last Friday night.  She was transported there by squad when she started vomiting up blood.  Sarah has had nausea for several days before that.  Today they did a scope down her throat and found an ulcer/tear in her esophagus and a larger ulcer in her stomach.  Hopefully they will be able to fix this and reduce another problem.  The surgery to help her constant headaches seems to have fixed that problem.  Please continue praying for her and the family as it is very difficult to cope with constant trips to ER's.

It is with a heavy heart that I have learned that our most Worthy Brother Sir Knight Bill Shushok crossed into eternal life.   Brother Bill gave so very much to the Brotherhood and loved being a Knight, we have missed him as he grew weaker, and now he is without pain and suffers no longer.

May our Great God grant him eternal rest and peace in his heavenly home.  Amen

Dear Sir Knights and Ladies,

Please keep my mom, Lady Karen Ann Urbanowski (wife of SK Dan Urbanowski, PGK, PFN) in your thoughts and prayers.  She had knee surgery today, which went well.  She had a couple of torn ligaments, and there was arthritis developing around her kneecap, so they took care of both of those issues.  She is looking at approximately 4 to 6 weeks for a full recovery.

Sincerely,

Prayers are needed for SK Frank Kammer's wife Mary Kammer.

Mary is going in for surgery on Tuesday, February 1 for removal of part of her colon.

It is not supposed to be cancer but a wall pol-lop that could turn into cancer.

This pol-lop is a growth that is flat against the wall of the colon and can not be removed except by surgery.

Please keep her in your prayers.

Many thanks for the prayers for my good friend SK Carl Nichols for whom I had asked for prayers last week.  Carl's valiant battle with his bladder/kidney cancer, begun in April of '10, came to an end yesterday afternoon (Friday) about 5 p.m. when the Lord came to take him home.  This was shortly after the parochial vicar from All Saints, Brother Knight Fr. Peter Chinnapan, went to the Nichols home to pray over Carl and with the family and put a piece of the blessed Eucharist under his tongue.  Carl had been under Hospice care for the past 10 days and spent the past few days sleeping, not eating or drinking.  We have every confidence that Carl is now resting comfortably and pain-free in the loving embrace of the One who made him.  We ask for prayers for his family as they deal with the loss of husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  Please keep our fellow Knights in your thoughts and prayers also as they mourn the loss of a very, very involved cohort.

Carl was my sponsor when I joined the Knights and again when I moved up to 4th degree.  He was 'Knight of the Year' for Lumen Christi Council 13520 in Dallas in 2010 and last week, during the regular Council meeting the Seminary fund that Carl led was named The Carl Nichols Memorial Seminary Fund and will receive tax exemption status in due course.  Carl and I were co-chefs for many Pancake Breakfasts while I was living in Dallas.

May he rest in peace.

Dear Brother Knights,
My good friend and fellow SK, Carl Nichols, is in the dying process in Dallas, Texas.  Carl and I have been friends for the last 15 years and he was my sponsor when I joined the K of C in Dallas.  Carl was diagnosed with bladder cancer not quite a year ago.  He has made a gallant effort to turn the tide but it appears to have taken charge.  I am heading to Dallas and I hope I get to see Carl before he leaves us for his eternal reward.  Please pray for Carl and his family.

Update of SK Anthony Pagano of Assembly 2170 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Hello Everyone,

Right now my dad is still in ICU at Good Sam Hospital.

This past weekend we found out that his tumor has continued to grow at a very rapid pace. The oncologist has told us that even for pancreatic cancer it has spread very quickly. Because of this and some other complications we have decided as a family (including my Dad) to admit my Dad into Hospice Care.

He should be in Hospice within the next day.

My brother John flew in on Friday and my sister-in-law Maria and the three kids Lauren, Carmela, and Baby Tony flew in on the red eye on Saturday night. Our entire family was able to be with each other during this very difficult time.

Please continue to pray for my Mom and Dad.

My Brother Knights,

Please remember in your daily prayers, Father Mike Wolf who passed away Wednesday morning.  Father Jim Bessert and Father Mike Wolf were close friends and in fact suite-mates at Saint Francis Home.  Please read Father Bessert's message to me below and the Funeral arrangements for Father Mike.

Fraternally,

Lawrence T. Grabowski

State Executive Secretary
Please read message below from Father Bessert>

Father Mike Wolf died early this morning.  He and I were suite-mates at Saint Francis Home.  His health declined rapidly since Christmas.  Matter of fact, he was in attendance at Father Larry Pashak's Funeral Mass on Friday, December 17th.

"Father Mike" was the oldest living priest here in the Diocese of Saginaw - he turned 96 on December 8th.  He has been an active member of the Knights of Columbus (he's been a member of the Knights for nearly - if not more than - 70 years) and very active throughout his many years of priesthood.  He was a council chaplain in many places and attended the State Convention for countless years.

The KofC 4th Degree Color Corps are being invited by the family to serve "Honor Guard" for Father Mike's funeral arrangements - they beautifully recalled their presence at his various priesthood anniversaries throughout the years.  I've asked PSD Ken Grembowski to make these arrangements for us.

Thanks - and all peace and good,
Father Jim Bessert

To All Our Friends and Family,

First, we would like to thank all of you for the abundance of prayers and caring you have shown.  We know things could be a lot worse and that your prayers have helped us through.

The biopsy showed no cancer.  Praise be to God! The growths are called necrotizing granuloma and are caused by Mark's compromised immune system due to the the leukemia.  The pulmonary doctor has ordered some specific lab tests, plus a TB test, and will decide the course of treatment when he gets the results.

May you all have the Happiest, Holiest Christmas season.  We love you all more than words can express.

Mark and Janet Currie

Mark is the Senior Marshal for Michigan District II and belongs to Assembly #524, Leon J. Satkowiak.

District Treasurer Raymond Asbrock, PFN, is a member of Archbishop Elko Assembly 2332 and St. Michael Council 3382 both in Cincinnati, Ohio and has asked for our prayers.

Ray has asked to send out the following information so that everyone receives the same information:

The doctors have decided upon a regimen of treatment to try to arrest my cancer and possibly bring about a cure.  As I have said in the past, what cannot be accomplished by medicine can be accomplished by prayer, if it be in God's plan for me.  We will be receiving Radiation and Chemo at the same time.  Before they can begin they need to surgically insert a Port so that some of the Chemo Medication can be administered in that manner.  They are also going to insert a Feeding Tube because treatment of the esophagus in this manner causes it to become so inflamed that swallowing becomes very painful and in some cases almost impossible.  This will allow me to receive nourishment.  Sounds rough and it probably is, but the doctors are cautiously optimistic so we will go with their suggestion.  Prayer will bring about the solution that is most beneficial for me.  Again thanks for all your prayers and please continue them.  As I understand it this process should be completed by the end of the year.            Ray Asbrock

Reverend Clarence Dominic Smolinski entered eternal life on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Tendercare in Alpena at the age of 84.  Father Smolinski was born August 4, 1926 to Stanislaus and Augustina (Klein) Smolinski.

Woznicki at St. Mary Cathedral in Saginaw, Michigan.  He served as Assistant at St. Andrew Parish in Saginaw and St. Stanislaus Parish in Bay City.  He became Administrator for St. Rita Parish in Saginaw and then Pastor for St. Cyril Parish in Bannister.  After his arrival in the Diocese of Gaylord in 1968 he served as Pastor of St. Casimir Parish in Posen, Administrator of St. Dominic in Metz and Pastor for St. Joseph in Manistee.  In 1984, he continued his education at the North American College in Rome.  After returning, he served as Pastor for St. Anne in Harrisville and St. Raphael in Mikado.  Father Clarence retired to senior priest status on August 3, 1994 but continued to serve as Sacramental Minister for the Parishes of St. Dominic in Metz, St. Casimir in Posen, St. Ignatius in Rogers City, St. Paul in Onaway and St. Monica in Afton until his recent illness.  During his many years of priestly ministry he had also been a Vicar and Diocesan Consultor, Chaplain for the Knights of Columbus and Daughters of Isabella, Presbyteral Council member and Bishop's Liaison to Senior Priests.  His cheerful disposition, love for the priesthood and faithful ministry will all be greatly missed.

Father Smolinski is survived by his sister-in-law, Marie Smolinski, and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents and brothers.

Tony Pagano, PFN, Most Holy Rosary Assembly 2170, Harrison, Ohio has
Gall Stones and will have to have surgery to remove the Gall Bladder.
However, this is complicated by the fact that he has Pancreatitis and
has a cyst on it.  Evidently, the Gall Stone created some sort of
blockage in the Pancreas.  So, the plan is that Tony will stay in the
hospital a week or more.  Surgery will not occur until between 2-6
weeks. They want to wait until the Pancreas is better.  Tony is in
quite a bit of pain.  Please keep Tony in your prayers.

Nick from St. Mary's Queen of Creation Catholic Church in New Baltimore, suffered a mild heart attack last night.  He is doing well and recovering.  I have canceled the publishing of the June Newsletter so I can update it with his name in it for our prayers.  I will have it out later next week.  When I get more information, I will pass it on.  He is at Mt. Clemens General.  He is schedule for some test on Monday.  So far, unfortunately, no visitors.  Please Sir Knights, please keep him in your prayers.

Please add Brother Sir Knight James Grady Senior to the Prayer Chain as he has been diagnosed with Terminal Cancer and given only a very short time to be with us here on Earth.

Brother Jim is a 50 year plus member of the KofC and is a member of Council 11665 in Newark Ohio and Assembly 0830 also in Newark Ohio.  As his health would allow over the past several years he participated regularly in Council and Assembly activities and has been an inspiration to many of his fellow Brothers.  He has participated helping at Registration for the past several years at the District III Spring Exemplifications despite being tied to his wheel chair.  Brother Sir Knight Jim lived our principles everyday of his 90 plus year life, and I am sure Blessed Michael McGivney will be welcoming him home when the Lord calls.

Thanks and God Bless Your Brother in Christ

Dear Fr. Louis Hennepin Province Brother Sir Knights and Ladies,

Greetings from beautiful downtown DeWitt, Michigan, where women
are strong, men are good looking, and children are above average!

To re-cap, Ben suffered a massive stroke on the right side of his brain on Friday April 16th.  The cause of his stroke was Atrial Fibrillation, in which a blood clot traveled from his heart up thru his carotid artery to his brain.  He was hospitalized for 2-weeks in the Ingham Medical Center in Lansing, where he received stroke patient tender loving care.  Then he stayed for 2-weeks in the Tender Care West Nursing Home, where he received rehabilitation care thru occupational and physical therapy.  We brought him back home with us on Friday May 14th, where he received in-home nursing care and physical therapy.

Now for an update, Ben suffered a massive stroke on the left side of his brain on Sunday May 23rd.  Atrial Fibrillation
was also the cause of his second stroke.  The Ingham Medical Center Emergency Room doctor conferred on the phone with a neurologist, who proposed giving Ben clot buster medication.  After listening to the ER doctor's description of the plus and minus aspects of this medication, we told him to go ahead with the procedure of administering it to Ben.

All day long on Monday, Ben could not speak or move his right arm or leg, and he kept his eyes tightly shut.  Also, he did not respond to any voice commands.  It was as if he was in a deep coma.  On Tuesday, he opened his eyes, spoke clearly, and responded to voice commands by raising his right arm and leg.  The hospital dietitian, who was concerned about his ability to swallow, gave him a small portion of applesauce and jello, as well as a small bite of a graham cracker.  He had no trouble swallowing, so she declared that he could eat any type of food that he wanted to.

This 100-year-old man, who is my favorite father-in-law, has now survived 2-massive strokes that would've killed most people!  He is the oldest person in the USA to be given the clot buster medication!  This is nothing short of a miracle!

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him all you creatures here below;
Praise Him above you heavenly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost!

Please continue to keep Ben in your daily thoughts and prayers!  Thank you!

5/26/2010

Thank you for your prayers! Continue your prayers.  Please pass this memo on.
Joan's health is improving.
Probable cause of the stroke is Atrial Fibrillation - a heart rhythm problem. Under control with medication.
She is starting rehab today at the Heartland Nursing Home in Canton.

Pray for us, as we will pray for you!              Frank Pawelak - Former Master Michigan District 1

Worth Sir Knights & Ladies of Father Hennepin Province:
Greetings from beautiful downtown DeWitt, where women are strong, men are good looking, & children are above average!
My 99-year-old father-in-law, Benjamin H. 'Ben' Klinkhamer, suffered a mild heart attack last Thanksgiving Day Holiday weekend, and received a heart pacemaker at Ingham Medical Hospital in Lansing in mid-December.  Prior to that he lived alone in his house on the west side of Lansing.  Since then, he has been living with my wife, Kay, and I in Dewitt.  Ben celebrated his 100th birthday on Tuesday May 23rd.  We are hosting a family reunion picnic celebration, of this wonderful milestone in his long life, on Sunday June 6th in Riverside Park in beautiful downtown DeWitt!  His relatives will be coming from far and wide across the U.S.A.
Please pray for him, because he suffered a massive stroke on the right side of his brain on Friday April 16th.  He spent the next 2-weeks in the stroke patient wing of the Ingham Medical Hospital in Lansing for testing and care.  And then the next  2-weeks at the Tender Care Nursing Home in Lansing for rehabilitation care, and occupational & physical therapy.  We got him back home to our house last Friday.  He has lost his short term memory, and is quite confused.
Ben is truly a blessing to have living with us.  Our 2-sons, our youngest daughter, and their spouses also live in Dewitt, along with 8 of our 10-grandchildren.  They come over regularly to visit their grandfather, and great-grandfather.  He enjoys playing cards with them and with us.  Our oldest daughter lives in Haslett with her husband, so they are only 15-minutes away.  She has the other 2 of our 10-grandchildren.
Thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers for Ben!

Karl Habig who is Frank's 10 year old Cousin, had his operation on his foot.  The operation went well, and it took a little longer for the swelling to go down than expected.  He got his cast after the swelling went down.  He was allowed to come home.  He has a therapist and that is going well.  Karl went back to school and seems to be doing fine with the foot with his walker.

Prayers needed for my 10 year old cousin Adam Habig again.  If you remember he had his feet operated on and was locked together for a period of time.

"Time for Karl to get the screws and plates out of his legs. After much thought, and asking for  many second (and third, and fourth, and fifth) opinions, we decided to go with the doc's recommendation to have the surgery on the left foot re-done, too. Seems that the arch on the left foot didn't come down as nicely as on the right, so the weight-bearing is still on  the ball and heel of the foot. This can lead to foot pain, joint pain, and the like, so we  decided to go ahead with it while Karl is young, lightweight, and will heal quickly. Plus,  they won't have to go in and get the staple from his heel, so hopefully he won't need another  surgery. Karl was against the re-do at the beginning, but now he seems ok with it, and doesn't seem too  anxious about the surgery, so that's a good thing. The challenges will come afterwards when  he has to deal with a cast again, especially during the 3 non-weightbearing weeks. His school  doesn't have an elevator, so he'll have trouble getting upstairs to his classroom. We'll have  to help him upstairs in the am, and retrieve him in the afternoon. Thankfully that will only  be for 3 weeks." Thanks for your prayers, Jane and Tom -- Jane Kammer Habig

For your information, Larry had cervical spine surgery on March 28th. His recovery is going very slowly!

He has an appointment tomorrow to see the surgeon and hopefully we will get some answers to why he is having so much intense arm and hand pain.He cannot be out of bed for longer then 10 minutes until the pain gets so severe he has to go back to bed. So I can't wait to get him to the doc tomorrow and see what he says. Maybe this is totally normal, we just don't know.

They had to fuse C3-C7 and screw a rod in place to stabilize his spine. He has some spinal cord damage which cannot be repaired but the surgery should keep the damage from progressing.  Just thought you might be interested in knowing this. I will keep you posted as to his condition.  Larry is a Former Master from Ohio.  Thanks.
