The annual Fr. Hennepin
Province Meeting scheduled for September 30 –October 2, 2011 in Sterling Heights, Michigan at the Best Western
Sterling Inn Banquet & Conference Center is fast approaching. In
order for us to have a successful and meaningful annual Provincial
Meeting, a lot of work and cooperation needs to occur before September
30th. I know that all the Faithful Navigators and Faithful
Comptrollers from all the Assemblies are not on my distribution list.
Therefore, I am requesting that you take the information contained in
this email back to your Assembly and ensure that it is presented and
action taken on it.
First of all, the Hennepin Provincial Memorial Mass on October 1st
will be offered for all of our Brother Sir Knights who have passed
away in the last Fraternal year - (July 1, 2010 thru June 30, 2011).
In order to remember all of deceased Sir Knights in a Memoriam
Booklet, the "In Memoriam" form (see -->
InMemoriam2011.pdf)
needs to be filledout legibly and sent to me no later than September 1,

Secondly, a Souvenir Book is again planned for our event this year to
help defray Provincial expenses not covered by Supreme Council. I
urge you to participate in the promotion of this Souvenir Book by
buying and/or selling advertising at Assemblies, Districts, Councils,
State Councils, K of C General Agents, Businesses, Corporations,
Colleges, Universities, Churches, Fraternal Organizations, etc. The
cost of a Full Page ad is $100.00, Half Page $50.00 and a Quarter Page
$25.00. EACH ASSEMBLY IS ASKED TO SELL OR BUY AT LEAST
ONE FULL PAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All checks should be made payable to: Fr.

Thirdly, you are encouraged to attend the Provincial Meeting and
Banquet. Your registration fee of $37.50 per person will include new
training sessions, special presentation on Leadership, Saturday
morning after Mass Ladies Program with Continental Breakfast, Saturday
Night Banquet, Entertainment and Hospitality. Please make your

Last but not least, four valuable 90 minute educational sessions
concerning the duties of the Assembly Offices are scheduled on
Saturday morning. The cost is included in your registration fee.
Session 1 - Navigators, Captains, Admirals, Pilots, Sentinels and
Scribes
Session 2 - Comptrollers, Pursers, Trustees
Session 3 - Color Corps
Session 4 - How to create an Assembly Newsletter and Website
These sessions are fantastic for learning about the various duties of
Officers, as well as, the sharing and exchanging of information and
ideas.
As you can see, this event requires a lot of work and preparation
Your support and participation is needed to make it all happen.
